A Place to Call Home

City Worship Church began with a simple desire: to create a space where people could encounter the real, life-changing presence of God without the pressure of having to pretend they have it all together. We love the city of Vista, and our vision is to see our community transformed by the love of Jesus.
We are not just a Sunday morning gathering. We are a family learning how to follow Jesus, care for one another, and bring hope to the world around us. No matter what your story looks like, there is a place for you at our table.
Simply put, our heart is to help you know God, grow in your faith, and live empowered by His Spirit.

Pastor Vince Limon and his wife, Wanda Limon, have a heart to see people grow in their relationship with God, find family, and live empowered by the Holy Spirit. Together, they help lead City Worship Church with a passion for faith, discipleship, family, and the nations.

We believe faith doesn't have to be complicated. Here are the simple, foundational truths we build our lives upon.
God is Real and Good
There is one God who created everything. He is a loving Father who desires a personal relationship with every single one of us.
Jesus is the Way
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He made a way for us to be forgiven, healed, and brought back into God's family.
The Bible is Our Guide
We believe the Bible is the true, inspired word of God. It is our ultimate guide for how to live, love, and navigate life.
Salvation is a Gift
We cannot earn our way to God. Salvation is a free gift of grace, received simply by trusting in Jesus and choosing to follow Him.
The Holy Spirit
Empowered by the Spirit
At City Worship Church, we believe that God didn't just save us and leave us on our own. He gave us the Holy Spirit to be our comforter, our guide, and our strength for everyday life.
We believe the Holy Spirit is still moving today, just as He did in the early church. This means we welcome all the gifts of the Spirit — including healing, prophecy, and speaking in tongues — not as strange rituals, but as natural expressions of an active, living relationship with God. These are beautiful ways He empowers us and builds up the church.
If this is new to you, that is completely okay. Our worship is joyful and expressive, but there is absolutely no pressure to participate in any specific way. You are always welcome to simply sit back, take it all in, and experience God's peace for yourself.
